How it works, in full
The short version fits on the homepage. Here's the long one β where the money comes from, what the subscription actually is, and how to make it stop.
Pick your box
Beauty, snacks, pet food or coffee. One free box per household, and yes, we do check β ask Stan from Bremen, whose eleven aliases live on in company legend.
Pay shipping only
β¬4.49ββ¬5.99 depending on the box, charged once at checkout. That's the whole payment for the products. No invoice follows, no "processing fee" ambushes.
Try & decide
Like it? Do nothing and the subscription continues. Don't? Cancel in two clicks or one email. Both take less time than reading this sentence, which we realise is a claim you'll now test.
So why is it free? Genuinely?
Because brands have a sampling problem. Getting a new product into people's hands is expensive: trade fairs, supermarket end-caps, glossy ads that everyone scrolls past. A full-size trial shipped to a real customer costs them less per honest impression than almost any of that, and the feedback is better. So brands pay us, we pay them for the products, and you pay postage. Nobody's doing charity here β it's just a better deal for everyone than a magazine spread.
What's in it for us beyond that: some of you keep the subscription. Not most of you β around one in five do β but enough that it works out. We'd rather you stay because you like the boxes than because you forgot to cancel, though. Customers who feel tricked email us, and we read those emails, and they're no fun at all.
What "free" doesn't include
- Shipping: β¬4.49ββ¬5.99, shown before you confirm, charged once.
- The subscription β optional, and the rest of this page is about exactly how optional.
- Nothing else. No membership, no points scheme, no dark patterns. We counted.
The subscription, in plain words
When you claim a free box, your order also sets up a monthly subscription at β¬24.90 per box including shipping. Your first box is free β product charge β¬0.00, you pay only postage. If you do nothing after that, the next box ships about a month later at β¬24.90, and monthly from then on.
The timeline, so there are no surprises:
- Day 0: you claim your free box, pay shipping only.
- Day 0β3: box leaves our warehouse in KΓΆln, tracking link lands in your inbox.
- Day ~14: a reminder email: "your next box ships in two weeks β want to skip or cancel?" Read it. It's short. We keep it on purpose.
- Day ~30: if you've done nothing, the next box ships and β¬24.90 is charged to your saved payment method.
- Any time before that: skip a month, swap boxes, or cancel entirely.
You can also switch between box types (say, from snacks to coffee) at any point in your account, and pause for up to three months β useful for the "we're moving house" type of month.
Cancelling, or how to make it stop
Log in, open "Subscriptions", click cancel. Two clicks, done, and you keep everything you've already paid for. No retention maze, no "are you sure, what if we offer you 10%?" screens β we think that stuff is embarrassing.
Prefer email? Send one to support@sendfreetrials.com with the subject "stop" and your order number, and we'll do it for you β usually the same working day. German and EU customers also have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts; the fine print is in the legal terms, and it's real fine print, not decorative.
- Cancel any time up to 48 hours before your next box ships and nothing further is charged.
- Already shipped? Unopened paid boxes can be returned within 30 days for a refund of the box price (see shipping & returns).
- Free box: cancelling never costs you anything. The products were free; you only ever paid postage.
One honest confession: our cancel button used to be three clicks. We made it two in 2025 and cancellations went up 4% β and subscriptions went up too, because people trust a shop that lets them leave. That was a good year for learning things.
Still with us?
That's genuinely all there is to it. The boxes are over here.
